BUILDING THE DREAM TOGETHER

At IMS, we believe in the power of language to open doors and broaden perspectives. We are committed to equipping students with the tools they need to confidently engage in our interconnected world and lead with empathy. The Build the Dream Campaign has laid the foundations for us to serve children from 18 months to 9th grade.

Thanks to the generosity of supporters like you, we've achieved remarkable milestones:

• 2020: Acquired a 37-acre property in Chapel Hill
• 2021: Completed schematic designs for the new campus
• 2022: Renovated existing buildings and transitioned two elementary programs
• 2023: Launched all elementary programs (1st through 6th Grade) at the Chapel Hill campus

Generosity has been instrumental in our journey. We are now proudly serving 180 students across our two campuses, doubling in size over the past decade, thanks largely to word-of-mouth support. Through our unique immersion model, students not only achieve linguistic mastery — becoming bilingual and biliterate in French, Spanish, or Mandarin Chinese by third grade — but are exposed to diverse cultures, fostering kindness, compassion, and a deep understanding of communities beyond their own. This approach cultivates conscientious, globally-minded students prepared to thrive in an interconnected world.

As we look to the future, additional funds raised will help us build the infrastructure to add middle grades, launch supplementary language programs outside of school hours, and host family-friendly events on the grounds that bring together the Triangle's internationally-engaged community.
